About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Wilmington South. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest account information, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with the housekeeping department to ensure guest rooms are ready and prepared for arrival
- Welcome, register, and check-in guests, providing keys and room numbers, and recording credit card information
- Respond to incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guest needs, including room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
Requirements
- Previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
