**REMOTE OPPORTUNITY**

This role reports directly to the US National Sales Director for Cattle and is chiefly accountable for managing a designated geographical region and key cattle accounts. The primary focus is to represent and promote the comprehensive range of Bimeda's cattle-centric products, which include biologicals, antiparasitics, antimicrobials, and other essential offerings to both new and existing clients.

The Regional Sales Manager will achieve these objectives by implementing innovative strategies to expand Bimeda's customer base, enhance annual sales figures, and fortify customer relationships while elevating Bimeda's brand presence in the market.

Geographical Focus: North Texas (West, Central, and North Texas) and Western Oklahoma

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Management

  • Establish and nurture relationships with major cattle operations, influencing key decision-makers to advocate for Bimeda products.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all sales initiatives within the specified territory concerning Bimeda's cattle product line.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to existing clients to foster business growth.
  • Utilize pre-call planning to maximize efficiency in territory management.
  • Leverage CRM tools, specifically SalesForce, to effectively communicate project updates and sales activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with the National Sales Director for Cattle.
  • Promptly address all customer inquiries and requests.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including production managers, veterinarians, nutritionists, and distributor representatives, to support the Bimeda product range.
  • Facilitate the sale of customized biologicals to veterinary clients.
  • Promote Bimeda-branded or private label products through distribution channels as directed.

Commercial Development Activities

  • Engage with influential decision-makers in large cattle operations, including managers and veterinarians, to optimize sales of Bimeda products.
  • Collaborate with key personnel within Bimeda's distribution network to enhance product sales, which includes:
    • Traveling with and managing relationships with distributor sales representatives.
    • Building rapport with distributor inside sales teams.
    • Fostering relationships with regional branches of Bimeda's distribution partners.
  • Develop and implement an effective travel strategy to support sales efforts.
  • Respond to requests for information from the marketing department.
  • Provide competitive insights via SalesForce as directed by the National Sales Director.

Marketing Initiatives

  • Participate in trade shows within the territory to promote Bimeda's product offerings.
  • Communicate and support Bimeda's marketing initiatives across all levels of target audiences, including veterinarians and beef producers.
  • Deliver monthly reports on sales trends and challenges.

Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Collaborate with management to develop sales and expense budgets for the territory.
  • Oversee the management of territory sales budgets and expenditures.
  • Utilize SalesForce to monitor sales performance and budget ratios to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Track the movement of Bimeda products using sales reports.

Team Collaboration

  • Engage in conference calls as needed.
  • Regularly interact with the Regional Sales Manager to discuss market trends and action plans.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Services Department to support sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department as necessary.
  • Attend regional and national meetings as required.
  • Travel with Bimeda management and Technical Services as necessary.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Business preferred.
  • Several years of experience in the animal health industry.
  • Experience in biological product sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven sales professional with a strong reputation in the cattle industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and relationships within the cattle sector.
  • Experience in cattle immunology, vaccinology, and antibiotic sales.
  • Understanding of bovine respiratory disease management.
  • Basic knowledge of general animal health products.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Desirable:

  • Master's degree in Agriculture or Business.
  • Experience with large cattle operations and animal health products.
  • Experience in selling autogenous vaccines.
