Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Cultivate and manage a high-achieving sales team that consistently surpasses mortgage sales targets, focusing on maintaining an active roster of NMLS-certified loan officers.
- Daily Operations: Supervise the daily functions of the sales team, motivating each member to meet performance expectations.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline filled with qualified leads and prospects, overseeing the process from origination to closing.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including managing team participation in mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, manage, and report on various risks within the branch.
- Problem Resolution: Address client inquiries and investigate issues related to problematic loans.
- Decision-Making: Make informed decisions regarding exceptions to mortgage loan policies.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management to organize, plan, and execute sales objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Training and Development: Provide training for loan officers in relevant areas and offer ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Supervision: Oversee mortgage loan officers within the designated area, ensuring high performance levels.
- Travel: Occasional travel between locations and to external training sessions may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the industry.
- Experience: A minimum of five years in mortgage sales and two years in a leadership role, with NMLS registration and certification required.
- Active Team: Must possess an active team of NMLS-certified loan officers.
- Leadership: Demonstrated supervisory experience, including coaching and staff development.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines, as well as mortgage products, services, operations, federal lending regulations, and market trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of FNMA-DU.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, maintaining a consistent, positive, and professional demeanor.
