Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Bimeda. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing and selling our complete range of cattle focus products to new and current end-user accounts in the North Texas and Western Oklahoma territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the cattle industry, including large cattle operations and distributors.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales and expand our customer base.
    • Manage and optimize sales activities within the defined territory to achieve quarterly and yearly sales goals.
  • Commercial Development Activities
    • Connect with key stakeholders in the cattle industry to maximize sales of Bimeda products, including veterinarians, nutritionists, and distributors.
    • Develop and communicate effective travel plans to support sales of Bimeda products.
    • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Marketing Initiatives
    • Attend tradeshows and industry events to promote Bimeda products and build relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Support and communicate Bimeda marketing programs to target consumers, including veterinarians, veterinary practice staff, and beef producers.
  • Cost Control & Budget Management
    • Work with management to create territory sales and cost budgets.
    • Monitor and manage territory sales budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Commercial Team Cooperation
    • Participate in conference calls and meetings with regional and national sales teams to discuss market trends and sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with technical services and marketing departments to support sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • 4-year BS degree in Agriculture or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Multiple years of animal health industry experience, preferably in biological product sales.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Accomplished sales professional with an excellent reputation in the cattle industry.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the cattle industry.
  • Previous experience in cattle immunology and vaccinology, and the selling of antibiotics.
  • Basic understanding of general animal health products.
  • Commitment to team participation, growth, and feedback.
  • Willingness to collaborate across departmental lines and species.
  • Professional attention to detail.
  • Self-starter/Self-directed.
  • Effective communication in English, writing, reading, and speaking.
