About the Role

At FIELDS MAZDA OF ASHEVILLE, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Vehicle Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest Mazda products, features, and technologies to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Professional Demonstrations: Conduct high-quality demonstrations of new and used vehicles to showcase their features and benefits.
  • Follow-up and Referrals: Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and encourage referrals to friends and family.
  • Overcoming Objections: Develop effective strategies to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on sales performance, customer interactions, and market trends.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Consultant or in a related sales role.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Mazda products, features, and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Driving Record: A clean driving record and ability to meet dealership guidelines.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Regularly stand and walk for up to 90% of the workday in various weather conditions.
  • Visual Abilities: Close vision and depth perception required for vehicle demonstrations and customer interactions.
Work Environment
  • Noise Level: Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Standing and Walking: Frequently required to stand and walk throughout the workday.
