About the Role

Mercedes-Benz of Asheville is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional luxury experience to our internal and external customers, building long-lasting relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with customers and create a loyal customer base
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Be the vehicle expert, knowing the ins and outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technology
  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles
  • Follow up with buyers to ensure referral business and learn to overcome objections in sales situations
  • Directly report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
Requirements
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product knowledge
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
Work Environment

The Sales Consultant will be required to stand and walk up to 90% of the time in all weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the position is constantly engaged in talking and listening.
