Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests at Sandpiper Bay Resort. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with comprehensive information regarding resort policies, services, and amenities.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the local area, including directions and dining options.
- Facilitate room sales for walk-in customers.
- Manage reservation details within the computer system.
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts.
- Process payments efficiently and securely.
- Make necessary adjustments to guest accounts as required.
- Communicate room status and availability to the housekeeping team.
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Operate the resort's switchboard or PBX system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Keep daily logs updated and accurate.
- Balance cash drawers and shift work effectively.
Additional Duties:
Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
Technical Proficiencies:
Proficient in computer and software applications, particularly OPERA Cloud and ALICE Hospitality Operations System is preferred.
