Overview:

As a key member of our team, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests at Sandpiper Bay Resort. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guests with comprehensive information regarding resort policies, services, and amenities.
  • Assist guests with inquiries about the local area, including directions and dining options.
  • Facilitate room sales for walk-in customers.
  • Manage reservation details within the computer system.
  • Accurately post charges to guest accounts.
  • Process payments efficiently and securely.
  • Make necessary adjustments to guest accounts as required.
  • Communicate room status and availability to the housekeeping team.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly.
  • Operate the resort's switchboard or PBX system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Keep daily logs updated and accurate.
  • Balance cash drawers and shift work effectively.

Additional Duties:

Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Technical Proficiencies:

Proficient in computer and software applications, particularly OPERA Cloud and ALICE Hospitality Operations System is preferred.
