Your Responsibilities: In this role, you will achieve Agency Sales Objectives by effectively recruiting, training, and overseeing an assigned Agency comprised of independent contractor Agents. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a thriving agency operation by aiding in the selection, training, and development of agency personnel.
  • Fostering a culture of leadership within their respective communities.
  • Conducting agency, regional, and company meetings to stimulate sales growth.
  • Formulating agency market strategies and assisting in the creation of agent business plans.
  • Representing the organization at various professional and industry gatherings.
  • Contributing to the financial success of FBL Financial by promoting and building multi-line accounts.
  • Providing stability and growth to the county and state organization through positive community relationships.
  • Assisting in meeting established membership objectives of the Farm Bureau Federation.
Qualifications for Joining Our Team:
  • A college degree (preferably in Business or Marketing) or equivalent experience, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in insurance/financial services and sales.
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • Must be a FINRA Registered Representative and Principal, with Series 6, 63 & 26 passed and eligible to sell with our broker/dealer.
  • Licensing in all product lines offered by the company in assigned states (Life and Health, Property/Casualty, Commercial, Crop/Hail) is required within 90 days.
  • Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time, including overnight trips.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are mandatory.
  • Ability to work in the designated area.
