Your Role

As a Lead Commercial Manager, you will oversee the commercial and contractual management of a diverse portfolio of telecommunications projects, including new developments, city enhancements, government contracts, and field service frameworks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the commercial resources of assigned projects, from budget planning to contract control
  • Supporting the authorization and submission of project variations
  • Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
  • Providing commercial expertise, including valuation certification, correspondence drafting, claims management, and performance data analysis
  • Delivering accurate cost and value data at both project and regional levels
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members

What You Bring

We seek candidates with substantial experience in senior commercial management and contractor procurement, particularly with a working knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms. A background in telecommunications, civil engineering, or utilities is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Extensive Quantity Surveying experience
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and partners
  • Experience managing large capital expenditure projects
  • Ability to utilize data for financial reporting and strategic insights
  • HNC/HND level education or equivalent
