Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and profitability through adept execution of brand strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across all levels.
  • Analyze customer business strategies and growth drivers to create effective Joint Business plans that align with strategic goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging opportunities, providing insights for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure successful implementation of innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to synchronize commercial strategies with brand marketing efforts, ensuring a unified and impactful market presence.
  • Assist management in defining budgets, targets, and growth-oriented strategies.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Negotiate pricing adjustments, product range, distribution, shelf positioning, and promotional activities to strengthen the brand within the customer portfolio.
  • Develop customer-specific plans and strategies in accordance with budgetary constraints, cost structures, packaging, and retail pricing.
  • Manage Own Label contracts as necessary, including acquiring new business, maintaining existing accounts, and overseeing P&L in a commodity-driven landscape.
  • Create and sustain demand forecasts at volume, value, and profit levels in collaboration with the demand planning team.
  • Work with the supply chain team to ensure effective customer service and fulfillment for each retailer.
  • Stay attuned to market dynamics and industry trends, monitoring competitor activities and adjusting strategies to ensure brand growth.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as directed by management.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Extensive experience managing major retailers/multiples within the FMCG sector at a senior level.
  • Proven success in expanding branded businesses in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting KPIs and achieving targets.
  • Skilled in commercial analysis and data interpretation to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Adept at cultivating and managing relationships across all organizational levels and with external clients.
