The Vice President of Technology Solutions is responsible for crafting a comprehensive strategy to implement and deliver on IT business objectives. This role necessitates a profound understanding of how organizational capabilities interconnect across various segments and the enterprise as a whole.

The Vice President of Technology Solutions collaborates with both business and IT sectors to establish an effective strategy for executing and delivering essential initiatives. This position will oversee the rationalization of various technologies across the organization, concentrating on the consolidation of numerous user interfaces into a unified framework. Furthermore, this individual will enhance and govern the Software Development Lifecycle within CenterWell Home Health IT, alleviating challenges for engineers while ensuring that controls and governance are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful delivery and technical expertise across diverse platforms, alongside senior-level leadership experience in a complex corporate setting. They will be a change agent with a history of driving significant transformation and working collaboratively with a broad spectrum of internal and external business partners to design and implement strategic initiatives. Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology and business leadership teams to formulate a vision and strategy that aligns with the technology roadmap and execution for the rationalization of the IT portfolio of systems.
  • Work closely with product owners, product managers, strategy teams, enterprise security teams, portfolio leadership, and IT development partners to devise an approach, ensure accountability, and execute the simplification of user interfaces.
  • Provide strategic planning and execution support for enterprise relationships and implementations.
  • Drive governance and continuous improvement within the Software Development Lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders and process owners to eliminate obstacles through enhanced controls and automation.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders across IT and the organization.
  • Manage delivery teams and cultivate a culture of high performance and engagement through goal setting, talent development, coaching, and feedback.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies, software, and processes, recommending changes to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments; manage and mitigate risks related to current systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience leading large teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor contract negotiations, technology, and risk management best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for contributing to an organization focused on enhancing consumer experiences.
  • Ability to influence peers and leadership teams across the organization.
  • Technology professional with over 15 years of software engineering and management experience, with a proven track record in managing software delivery and engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing and how SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions can drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Strong technical acumen, relentless curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience working within environments utilizing Agile, Lean, DevOps, and DataOps methodologies.

Role Essentials

  • Digital leadership skills capable of empowering and guiding engineering teams to meet evolving business needs, leveraging modern technologies to create solutions that are simple and engaging for consumers.
  • In-depth knowledge of public cloud computing architectures and services, proficient in cloud-native technologies and cybersecurity.
  • Extensive experience presenting to and collaborating with senior executives.
  • Proficient in articulating key messages effectively and guiding IT leaders and business partners on critical concepts and strategies for enabling technological innovation.
  • Skilled in collaboration and diplomacy to ensure effective working relationships and build consensus across matrixed teams.
  • Experience leveraging modern technologies and architectures to enhance delivery speed and reduce costs, including cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture.
  • Building collaborative relationships with team members, fostering a productive team environment, and providing timely, meaningful feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or a Master's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain, including delivering products or solutions for payers, providers, and consumers.
  • Professional certifications in public cloud technologies and/or solution architecture.

The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.
