As the Senior Vice President of Production Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives and leading the operational team to achieve excellence across all facets of production.

Your leadership will be essential in driving our mission and vision forward, fostering a transformative operational strategy that inspires and encourages ongoing process enhancements, boosts operational efficiency, and enhances both cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

You will guide your teams in establishing and maintaining high-performance operational standards that comply with our internal policies and external regulations, ensuring the creation of consistent and scalable operational processes.

Additionally, you will formulate key strategies aimed at scalability and growth, while managing risks, promoting our core values, and mentoring team members to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a transformative operational vision and leadership that nurtures a culture of empowerment and accountability.
- Develop and promote operational practices that enhance accountability, scalability, stability, and continuous improvement.
- Align diverse operational teams across various practices, technologies, and tools into a unified standard operating model.

- Design strategic plans for application architecture, integration strategies, governance, quality assurance, and business support processes.
- Plan and execute development projects, ensuring teams possess the necessary product knowledge, technical specifications, direction, and resources to meet ambitious yet achievable timelines.

- Build and attract high-performing teams through effective leadership, mentoring, and development.
- Establish training and certification requirements for all operational personnel.

- Define key success indicators and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and quality commitment.
- Recommend integration opportunities across the enterprise proactively.

- Collaborate with business analysis personnel to plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budgeting process.
- Ensure that enterprise operations align with the strategic annual plan.

- Support the development and execution of both short and long-term operational plans for all manufacturing functions, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure delivery against major operational metrics: Safety, Quality, and Schedule Realization.

- Set individual targets for improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and work collaboratively to establish guidelines for regular performance audits.

- Participate in strategic technology initiatives to provide operational requirements for IT upgrades.
- Develop contingency plans for potential business interruptions.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in senior-level production and manufacturing leadership.
- Considerable experience with large-scale composite airframe prototype development (engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing).

- Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams, including shop floor technicians, manufacturing engineers, tool designers, industrial engineers, material planners, and manufacturing program managers.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, diplomacy, and demonstrated executive presence, along with strong relationship-building capabilities.
- A well-rounded professional with a proactive, innovative, and problem-solving mindset, capable of creating strong business partnerships.

- In-depth knowledge of management practices and policy interpretation, enabling independent evaluation and application of techniques and standards.

- Experience in strategic planning and budgeting.


Preferred:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs.
- Repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions, requiring dexterity.
- Rarely lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions:
- Rare exposure to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.).
- Rare exposure to fumes or hazardous materials.
- Rare exposure to loud noises.
