  • Align diverse operational teams across various practices and technologies into a unified standard operating model.
  • Design strategic plans encompassing application architecture, integration strategies, governance, quality assurance, and business support processes.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of development projects, ensuring teams are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and resources to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Attract and cultivate high-performing teams through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Establish training and certification standards for all operational personnel.
  • Define key performance indicators and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and quality commitment.
  • Identify and recommend integration opportunities across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to coordinate and execute the annual budgeting process.
  • Ensure that operational activities align with the strategic annual plan.
  • Support the formulation and implementation of both short-term and long-term operational plans for all manufacturing functions, adapting as necessary to evolving circumstances to ensure delivery on critical operational metrics: Safety, Quality, and Schedule Realization.
  • Set individual performance targets for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity improvements, and establish guidelines for regular performance audits.
  • Participate in strategic technology initiatives to provide operational requirements for IT enhancements.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential business interruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in senior-level production and manufacturing leadership is essential.
  • Experience with large-scale composite airframe prototype development is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, including shop floor technicians, manufacturing engineers, and program managers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated executive presence.
  • Strong strategic planning and budgeting capabilities.

Working Conditions: The role may involve occasional physical activities, including walking, standing, and lifting light weights. The working environment is generally safe, with minimal exposure to outdoor elements or hazardous materials.
