This position is part of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) division within HII's Mission Technologies.

HII-Mission Technologies is looking for an Intelligence Operations Specialist to join The Office of National Security (ONS) within the Immediate Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential threat information, propose mitigation strategies, and integrate findings into formal documentation.
- Conduct analytical assessments to support operational initiatives, correlating and evaluating data related to counterintelligence and intelligence threats impacting personnel, programs, information systems, and facilities.
- Analyze incoming information to pinpoint intelligence deficiencies and outline collection requirements to address these gaps through suitable collection methods.
- Assist in counterintelligence and intelligence investigations under the guidance of the counterintelligence team lead.
- Prepare intelligence information reports when necessary.
- Maintain the integrity of evidence collected during counterintelligence investigations.
- Assess risks to emerging technologies being developed within the organization.
- Deliver counterintelligence briefings to personnel as needed.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree; or a High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional technical writing abilities, including proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Familiarity with Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Classification Management Tool (CMT).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical writing or editing, with at least one year in the Intelligence Community.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and demands.
- Frequent interaction with customers and/or functional peer groups.
- Potential interaction with senior management.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.

Physical Requirements:
- May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Must be capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variations.
