Job Description

At General Dynamics, we are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' mission-critical operations by providing expert analysis and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and Analyze Intelligence: Gather and analyze information from various sources, including open-source resources, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, and the intelligence community.
  • Identify Intelligence Sources: Identify and assess potential intelligence sources to support law enforcement missions and perform pattern of life attributes and threat actor identification.
  • Forensic Analysis: Conduct forensic analysis of digital information and use forensically sound procedures to assist in threat investigations.
  • Metadata Recovery: Recover and evaluate metadata from various sources and work with analysts to detect steganography and recover deleted, fragmented, or corrupted data.
  • Evidence Custody and Control: Maintain proper evidence custody and control procedures, document procedures and findings, and prepare comprehensive written notes and reports.
  • Cyber Intelligence Tools: Utilize common cyber intelligence tools and software to search and collect publicly available information from the internet and dark web.
  • Assessments and Briefs: Prepare formal assessments and briefs to various levels of government leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with government liaisons to leverage agency resources, strengthen communication, and capture best practices and lessons learned.
  • Training and Development: Prepare and conduct routine training for government personnel on various aspects of the criminal intelligence process.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in intelligence operations in support of a law enforcement mission
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office, OSINT research tools, and cyber intelligence tools
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt and apply various analytical and quantitative techniques
