Intelligence Operations Specialist

ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will function as an Intelligence Targeter, contributing to the identification, collection, and dissemination of foreign intelligence (FI), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber intelligence gathered from various sources. Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling targeting data into clear, concise packages for actionable collection activities.
- Collaborating directly with collection managers and collectors throughout the lifecycle of intelligence operations.
- Engaging with national-level intelligence organizations to effectively develop, coordinate, and deconflict operational activities.
Required:
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in supporting HUMINT activities to identify national security information sources and develop new technical collection strategies for globally positioned strategic clients.
- Experience in collaborating with collection managers to pinpoint critical information gaps, conducting Mission and Target Analysis, and performing OSINT and classified database research to generate leads for potential sources addressing intelligence needs.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong communication skills along with well-developed time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Prior collection support experience relevant to intelligence issues central to the Department's mission, including advanced science and technology, nuclear technology, weapons of mass destruction nonproliferation/counter-proliferation, energy security, and cybersecurity.
- Proficient in research methodologies and tools, with specific experience in manipulating large datasets using common data analysis and visualization software.
- Experience with a primary USIC agency, HUMINT support training, and a broad range of IC contacts is preferred.
Education:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree (BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5) from an accredited institution, preferably in fields related to geopolitical or national security studies. Additional years of experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Formal collection support and/or targeter training from recognized courses (or equivalent from a USIC agency) is required.
This position has a projected compensation range influenced by various factors, including Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
