Senior Intelligence Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will take on the role of Senior Intelligence Operations Specialist (SIOS). Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee Counterintelligence (CI) and Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations throughout the Department of Energy (DOE) landscape.
- Collaborate closely with senior management at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to synchronize ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at designated facilities.
- Act as a liaison and point of contact with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility.
- Develop strong relationships with executive-level scientific counterparts within the DOE to proactively address CI threats and ensure prompt identification of CI concerns.
- Deliver CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to departmental personnel regarding foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of experience, Master's degree with 10-13 years, or PhD with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a senior-level Counterintelligence Officer or agent, managing complex CI program activities as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management within the DOE, FBI, or DOD, along with extensive management experience overseeing Counterintelligence personnel and programs.
- Exceptional liaison skills, strong oral and written communication abilities, conflict resolution techniques, and a proven capacity to perform under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with executive-level personnel within the U.S. Government, U.S. Intelligence agencies, and members of the scientific community.
- Functional computer literacy and proficiency in common computer and network applications.

This position has a projected compensation range. Various factors can influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies aligned with the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education, and certifications, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
