Your Impact as an Intelligence Specialist:
- Gather and analyze data from open source channels, collaborating with federal, state, and local law enforcement, the intelligence community, foreign entities, financial institutions, and tech firms.
- Identify intelligence sources to aid law enforcement efforts and conduct assessments to understand the behavioral patterns and identities of potential threats.
- Utilize forensic analysis techniques on digital information, employing sound procedures to assist in investigations involving the internet and digital devices.
- Familiarize yourself with forensic tools to recover and evaluate metadata, detect steganography, and retrieve deleted or corrupted data from various digital media.
- Maintain proper evidence handling protocols, documenting findings in a manner suitable for criminal investigations and courtroom use.
- Employ cyber intelligence tools to collect publicly available information from the internet and dark web to identify threats against government personnel and operations.
- Prepare formal assessments and briefings for government leadership, ensuring clarity and logical conclusions.
- Collaborate closely with government liaisons to optimize resource utilization and enhance communication.
- Support protective missions by working with law enforcement to provide proactive analysis for both domestic and international operations.
- Conduct training sessions for government personnel on the criminal intelligence process to improve overall policing and protection efforts.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and professional advancements to apply in your work.
Qualifications for Success:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 4+ years in intelligence operations supporting law enforcement; expertise in all-source analysis; understanding of darknet ecosystems; proficiency in cyber tools for intelligence gathering.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various OSINT research tools.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to apply analytical techniques, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
