Intelligence Operations Specialist

Location: Pentagon, Washington, DC

The role of the Intelligence Operations Specialist entails performing thorough intelligence investigations across various networks, both within the country and internationally. This position requires presenting findings in both written and verbal formats to senior officials and pertinent agencies. Key responsibilities include producing time-sensitive intelligence reports, conducting in-depth data evaluations, collaborating with ARTIC partners, and adhering to established research and analytical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct OSINT, unclassified and classified LEI, CUI, and military intelligence research across multiple computer networks to identify threat personas, networks, and groups both domestically and internationally.
  • Deliver written and oral presentations of OSINT, unclassified and classified LEI, CUI, and research findings to senior leaders within the DOD, Army, and Federal Agencies, as well as the broader community as directed by the ARTIC Chief.
  • Prepare and present urgent intelligence products to fulfill indication and warning requirements for broader dissemination and integration into systems that depict the common operational picture.
  • Engage and communicate with ARTIC community partners across various levels of law enforcement and intelligence to support the ARTIC mission.
  • Perform data correlation, link analysis, and trend identification to uncover connections and patterns related to domestic and foreign threats and terrorism-related activities.
  • Travel as necessary to participate in conferences and collaborative meetings with ARTIC community partners.
  • Utilize analytic research methods in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct data correlation, link analysis, and trend assessments to identify patterns associated with domestic non-felony criminal activities and international threats.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in intelligence or crime analysis, or a high school diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in Criminal/Police/Law Enforcement intelligence or military intelligence.
  • Completion of a recognized law enforcement or military intelligence training program.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • An adjudicated DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance within the last five years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Willingness to support 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and federal holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-tempo operational environment, collaborating with a small team of highly skilled professionals, and making prompt recommendations for the ARTIC Chief's approval.
  • Extensive expertise in research, analysis, and writing, with the capability to triage questions and issues related to domestic and foreign terrorism.
  • Experience in presenting threat analysis in both written and oral formats.
  • Proficiency in preparing, proofreading, editing, and revising documentation and reports.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with law enforcement or intelligence web-based portals and databases.
  • Experience with various intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
