Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve $2.5M in annual revenue by collaborating with Executive Leadership to devise an enterprise sales and revenue strategy aimed at securing high-value prospects.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience and proficiency in negotiating with C-Level executives for Fortune 500 clients.
  • Skilled in navigating intricate sales and business development cycles that involve multiple influencers and decision-makers.
  • Establish senior-level relationships with key targets and major accounts across various personas, influencers, and strategic partners.
  • Maintain transparency in pipeline management, pricing negotiations, and contract governance through CRM systems.
  • Exhibit expertise in understanding the purchasing processes of prospective industries and assist in product selection and standardization.
  • Collaborate with category specialists to enhance value and expertise, positioning Staples for success.
  • Work with the Revenue Management Team and Sales Engineer to make informed pricing decisions based on competitor analysis, account servicing needs, and future spending assessments.
  • Partner with internal resources, including support teams, sales engineers, account executives, and category experts, to fulfill customer requirements and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and Strategic Selling methodologies to craft value-based deals that align with the customer's vision and initiatives (e.g., Inclusion & Diversity, sustainability, HR), while also understanding the competitive landscape; capable of designing and negotiating complex contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity and proactively pursue next steps.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in managing programs or business development initiatives.
  • Ability to engage with senior-level prospects effectively.
  • Strong skills in delivering presentations both virtually and in-person.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation, and advanced client management.
  • Capability to set targets, develop customer growth strategies, and collaborate with product category sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of business, financial, operational, and technological principles.
  • Ability to analyze industry trends and craft customized solutions based on Staples' value proposition.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing large, complex customer accounts.
