Role Purpose

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be responsible for promoting our essential HR solutions that local enterprises depend on. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of our sales methodology, with a focus on lead generation, relationship cultivation, and deal closure. The ideal candidate will possess quick learning abilities, strong prospecting skills, and a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business prospects through self-generated leads, incoming inquiries, client referrals, and networking with referral partners. Maintain conversion rates from leads to opportunities and from initial meetings to closures.
  • Utilize a targeted account list to oversee the sales process from the first contact to closing. This includes identifying, researching, and developing key contacts; meeting with clients to qualify and build rapport; assessing and creating value propositions; gathering necessary documentation for underwriting; preparing proposals and financial analyses; negotiating contracts; and finalizing sales.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Sales Operations, Pricing, Implementation, Client Success, and Operations, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that all records and key activities are accurately documented in Salesforce for effective reporting.

Qualifications We Seek

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in B2B or consultative sales, account management, or a related field in a quota-driven environment. Previous experience in a PEO setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Provide a consultative sales experience from the initial meeting to closure. Engage with key decision-makers to thoroughly understand their challenges and effectively communicate how our products and services can meet their needs.
  • Active Listening: Accurately attune to the opinions, feelings, and needs of others. Understand the impact of one's actions on others. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and the ability to summarize and reflect on others' viewpoints.
  • Persuasive Communication: Exhibit persuasive skills during transitions; capable of selling a vision. Charisma is a plus, though a subtle approach and quiet credibility are also effective.

In addition to a base salary range of $85-100k, employees can earn commissions based on an uncapped commission structure, averaging $60-90k, leading to total on-target earnings of $145-190k.
