Position OverviewRole Summary

In collaboration with the Practice Manager, Clinical Director, and Lead MD, the Clinical Nursing Supervisor will oversee clinic operations, executing a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities aimed at enhancing patient care and practice management. This role demands the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in compliance with the standards set forth by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support clinical staff while ensuring adherence to established clinic workflows.
  • Conduct quality monitoring and manage clinical supplies effectively.
  • Educate staff on best practices and maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient demographic, recognizing both normal and critical signs of medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to uphold clinical standards.

Compensation: $76.05 per hour

Required Qualifications

· Active license from the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners, including certifications in Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal.

· Current CPR BLS certification from a recognized organization.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LVN.

· Proficient in taking vital signs, administering medications, and managing drug refills.

· Ability to identify abnormal lab results and communicate findings to physicians.

· Strong understanding of common and life-threatening medical conditions.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative working environment with healthcare professionals.

  • Skilled in phlebotomy, CPR, injections, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.

· Competent in computer usage, including navigating Windows and utilizing computerized patient care systems.

· Knowledgeable about safety protocols for handling biohazardous materials.

· Effective verbal communication skills for conveying sensitive information courteously.

· Proven leadership abilities to guide a team while maintaining high-quality standards.

· Capacity to work harmoniously with colleagues, patients, and nursing staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with instruments and supplies necessary for physical examinations and procedures.
  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
