We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Supervisor to join our team at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As a key member of our Perioperative Services department, you will be responsible for providing operational and clinical supervision to a work area or unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front-line supervision to staff while on the unit.
- Collaborate with the Manager to implement plans addressing performance improvement, quality improvement, advancement of care delivery, and customer/staff satisfaction.
- Serve as a work area leader and develop systems to ensure efficient workflow and collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the interprofessional team.
- Maintain open communication with manager regarding patients, family, personnel and departmental issues.
- 3-5 years of experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Expert clinical knowledge of unit's patient population.
- Ability to lead others.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing.
- Baccalaureate degree and California licensure in respective discipline required.
- For nursing: California RN License, Current CPR and PALS Card. National Certification Required.
