You will also engage in administrative tasks such as quality assurance, inventory management of clinical supplies, and staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to a diverse population, maintaining exceptional standards and promptly identifying critical health issues.
- Collaborate with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to uphold clinical protocols and practices.
- Monitor quality metrics and manage clinical supplies to support efficient clinic operations.
- Facilitate staff education and training to enhance team performance and patient care quality.
Compensation: Salary Range: $36.49 - $76.05 per hour
Mandatory:
- Current licensure from the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners, including certifications in Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal.
- Valid CPR BLS certification from recognized organizations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an LVN.
- Proficient in taking vital signs, administering medications, and managing prescription refills.
- Ability to identify and report abnormal lab results to physicians.
- Comprehensive understanding of common and critical medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment with healthcare professionals.
- Experience in performing phlebotomy, CPR, injections, and other relevant clinical skills.
- Competence in computer systems, including patient care software and general navigation.
- Awareness of safety protocols for handling biohazardous materials.
- Effective verbal communication skills for conveying sensitive information professionally.
- Leadership capabilities to guide a team, ensuring effective communication and high-quality care standards.
- Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues, patients, and other healthcare staff.
- Proven team-building and leadership experience, ideally with prior supervisory roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with medical instruments and supplies for conducting physical examinations and procedures.
- Previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
