Role Summary:
The Clinic Supervisor is essential in managing the operational and financial functions of the Wesley Health Center. This role encompasses leading clinic personnel, ensuring high-quality patient care, and partnering with the Clinic Administrator to oversee support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to align with JWCH's strategic objectives.
- Articulate organizational aims to clinic staff members.
- Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and contracts.
- Assist in establishing departmental objectives, budgets, and policies.
- Encourage a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Supervise personnel to guarantee effective performance and uphold high standards of care.
- Coordinate provider schedules and manage patient appointments.
- Track facility growth and suggest expansion initiatives as necessary.
- Implement quality enhancement activities and oversee patient care processes.
- Work with the billing department to ensure timely submission of encounters.
- Engage with the community to boost health center visibility.
- Participate in organizational committees and meetings.
- Regularly report operational challenges and advancements to leadership.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and ensure compliance with customer service standards.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of three years in healthcare management.
- Understanding of healthcare funding sources.
- Experience working with diverse populations and managing staff.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Prior experience in a Community Health Care Center is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
