Senior Procurement Specialist III

Design To Delivery Inc is seeking experienced Contract Specialists to deliver acquisition support services for government clientele.
This role is contingent upon contract award, and successful candidates will assume the role of Site Lead for the Contractor.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities include providing support to the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, and Supervisory Procurement Analyst on various projects concerning policies, data management, training, and systems integration.
Secondary responsibilities encompass administrative tasks such as onboarding, training facilitation, timesheet management, performance evaluations, and addressing performance-related issues.
Support FunctionsSupport will include, but is not limited to:
- Acting as a technical resource and advisor for organizations in procuring necessary goods and services for effective program execution.
- Utilizing knowledge of administrative support functions within a Federal acquisition environment to assist program officials with procurement-related matters.
- Conducting contract administration for selected contracts and monitoring Contractor performance, including payment approvals and delivery verifications.
Assisting clients in developing statements of work and procurement strategies, while formulating evaluation plans and pricing methodologies.
Contract ManagementResponsibilities also include:
- Preparing solicitations and related documents in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Executing contract modifications and conducting analyses of alternatives.
- Applying price/cost analysis techniques to support solicitation development and cost evaluations.
Overseeing the contract closeout process to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
QualificationsA bachelor's degree in any field with 24 semester hours in relevant disciplines such as accounting, business, finance, or law is required. A postgraduate degree is preferred.
Ten years of direct experience in Federal contracting is essential, with at least one year at a level equivalent to GS-15.
Mastery of contracting principles and regulations is crucial, along with expert leadership skills to manage procurement operations effectively.
Knowledge of negotiation techniques and the ability to communicate complex information clearly are also required.
