About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives within the supply chain department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Construct and manage various contracting types for major procurement activities, including long-range procurement agreements and sourcing partnerships.
  • Lead the identification, implementation, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements.
  • Support the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Working understanding of AS9100 standards and knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications and source control drawings.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and define processes that can scale.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Current active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Access.
  • Experience in Avionics.
