We are seeking a Territory Account Manager who will actively engage with customers to achieve and surpass company objectives by promoting our three primary service offerings: Cylinder Exchange Program, Onsite Rapid Recovery Service, and National Consolidation. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new client accounts and representing A-Gas within the Southern Florida territory.

Work Environment:

This position involves travel to A-Gas locations, customer sites, suppliers, or other necessary venues. Expect at least 25% travel within the designated territory.

Daily Responsibilities:

The Territory Account Manager will focus on acquiring new clients and meeting budgetary targets within our refrigerant gas service and acquisition network.

This hybrid role entails a mix of remote work and field sales, where you will engage in phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings from your home office, as well as in-person meetings with clients. You will achieve budgetary goals by acquiring new customers through outreach and site visits while collaborating with field service teams to optimize current business and meet gas acquisition and service revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly targets for gas acquisition and service revenue within the refrigerant gas service network through a high-volume contact approach with new and existing customers.
  • Focus on new customer acquisition and re-engagement of dormant accounts that have not purchased in over a year.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to document and track key activities.
  • Coordinate with the local Field Services Manager to onboard customers and schedule upcoming jobs and services.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to attract new clients and expand existing opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with minimal supervision while building relationships with individuals and organizations.
  • Demonstrate excellent persuasion skills and the ability to identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct market assessments, competitor analyses, and pricing strategies.
  • Create a call schedule to effectively cover the territory.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Field Service Manager to optimize strategy and achieve budget goals.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 3 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Commission structure based on a tiered program aligned with budget goals.
  • 1+ years of travel experience in a multi-city/state area.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Proven sales capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume outbound calling environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-management skills to identify barriers and seek support when necessary.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and experience in the relevant field; may be acquiring higher-level skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
