Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Operations, the Director of Marketing and Field Operations plays a crucial role in bolstering the North America Business Unit through the effective implementation of both tactical and strategic initiatives aimed at customer engagement and field operations. This position entails the development, execution, and maintenance of essential processes while collaborating with the technology team to enhance system functionalities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all materials used by field teams are properly vetted and approved, overseeing the logistical aspects of the LMR process.
  • Manage the creation and oversight of printed and digital marketing materials, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of speaker bureau initiatives, working closely with internal teams on content creation, budgeting, and program evaluation.
  • Oversee the logistical and production elements of both internal and external meetings in partnership with leadership and training teams.
  • Facilitate the North America Business Unit's participation in national and regional conferences, including planning, registration, and execution.
  • Ensure alignment between home office communications and field operations.
  • Supervise vendors and consultants as necessary, including the preparation of purchase orders and contract management.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to a team of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated progression in responsibilities across commercialization functions.
  • Strong ability to connect strategic objectives with tactical execution, with a keen eye for detail in process mapping.
  • Proficient in synthesizing and presenting actionable insights to internal partners through both verbal and written communication.
  • Commitment to adhering to Compliance, Privacy, and Legal standards in program development and maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% for business engagements and conferences.

This position is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and operates under a hybrid work model. Candidates should be prepared to work in the office as needed, in alignment with departmental and business requirements.
