Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Operations, the Director of Field & Marketing Operations plays a crucial role in facilitating the North America Business Unit's success through the effective implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives aimed at customer engagement. This position requires the development, management, and optimization of essential processes in collaboration with the technology team to enhance system functionalities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all materials utilized by field teams are properly vetted and approved through comprehensive oversight of the LMR process.
  • Oversee the creation and management of both printed and digital marketing materials, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
  • Manage the execution of speaker bureau initiatives, coordinating with internal teams on content creation, budgeting, contracts, and communication of program outcomes.
  • Coordinate logistical and production elements for both internal and external meetings in partnership with leadership and training teams.
  • Facilitate the North America Business Unit's presence at national and regional conferences, including planning, registration, and execution.
  • Ensure alignment between home office and field communications.
  • Oversee vendor and consultant management, including the creation of purchase orders and contract execution.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to a team of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Demonstrated progression in responsibilities across commercialization roles.
  • Strong ability to connect strategic objectives with tactical execution, emphasizing process flow and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in synthesizing and communicating actionable insights to internal partners through both oral and written formats.
  • Commitment to compliance, privacy, and legal standards in program development and maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% for business meetings and conferences.

This position is based out of the corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts, operating under a hybrid work model. Candidates must be prepared to work in the Boston office as required by departmental and business needs.
