Role Summary
Pointr is in search of a proactive Head of Product Marketing Strategy to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on establishing Pointr as a thought leader in the industry while spearheading product communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional storytelling abilities and a robust technical foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a product marketing manager, collaborating to craft and implement a strategic vision for product marketing. Together, create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including business executives and technical leaders.
- Produce whitepapers, public relations campaigns, and various marketing materials that position Pointr as a leader in the industry.
- Oversee our content strategy and calendar, ensuring a steady and impactful flow of content across all platforms.
- Articulate Pointr's product features and translate them into compelling advantages for potential clients.
- Work in tandem with R&D, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure unified product messaging.
- Support sales initiatives in targeted sectors by providing relevant marketing and sales resources.
- Collaborate closely with the product marketing manager to develop and maintain essential sales materials, including industry-specific presentations and inserts.
- Manage product launches and significant feature introductions.
- Gather customer insights and feedback, communicating this information to the development team.
- Assist the product marketing manager with regular product updates, ensuring consistent engagement with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in marketing enterprise technologies, effectively bridging the gap between engineering and sales.
- Experience in team management or mentorship is preferred; currently overseeing one individual.
- Background in product marketing for B2B environments is essential; experience with SaaS products is a plus.
- Familiarity with software tools such as Jira and Figma is beneficial.
- A technical background is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years of experience in product marketing or related fields is required.
