Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, documenting, testing, and maintaining intricate security solutions that encompass networking, cryptography, cloud services, authentication and directory services, email, internet applications, and endpoint security. This role involves providing security consultancy for substantial projects to ensure adherence to corporate information security policies and standards.

The engineer will lead incident response activities for complex security events, conducting thorough technical investigations of security incidents and performing post-incident digital forensics to ascertain causes and recommend strategies for future mitigation. The role includes reviewing and correlating security logs, identifying emerging security vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating remediation options.

Expertise and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess mastery-level subject matter expertise in current and emerging security solutions and best practices, including aspects of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, incident response, access management, and business continuity. Interaction with executive management may be required.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years in information security applications and systems
  • 6+ years in information technology applications and systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced technical skills in Information Security
  • Ability to manage complex challenges and devise effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

Additional Skills:

The candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders are essential, along with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
