Key Responsibilities:
As a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, you will:

  • Automate essential administration tasks using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Design and create security dashboards to effectively visualize network traffic and security events.
  • Monitor the performance of the cybersecurity platform and address any issues that arise.
  • Stay informed about the latest features and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with network security teams to identify and implement enhancements to the operational environment.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in roles such as Network Security Engineer or Application Developer.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Familiarity with intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • A solid understanding of security incident response methodologies.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
