Key Responsibilities:
As a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, you will:
- Automate essential administration tasks using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Design and create security dashboards to effectively visualize network traffic and security events.
- Monitor the performance of the cybersecurity platform and address any issues that arise.
- Stay informed about the latest features and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with network security teams to identify and implement enhancements to the operational environment.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in roles such as Network Security Engineer or Application Developer.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Familiarity with intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and other security technologies.
- A solid understanding of security incident response methodologies.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
