Role Overview
The Solutions Consultant role represents a modern evolution of traditional Sales Engineering, focusing on how we can best assist our clients in navigating their security environments. In this capacity, you will provide essential technical leadership and expertise, guiding customers through their security transformation journeys.

Your Responsibilities
As a Solutions Consultant, you will:

  • Develop and implement strategic technical account plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver high-level designs that align with customer business needs across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough discovery sessions to identify and articulate the key technical and operational requirements of clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure effective implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, influencing stakeholders through impactful presentations and tailored demos.
  • Lead technical validation efforts, ensuring successful outcomes in assigned opportunities.
  • Coordinate resources to foster a unified approach that highlights a cohesive strategy.
  • Promote comprehensive solutions that integrate Palo Alto Networks and partner services, ensuring clients realize business value promptly.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape to effectively differentiate our offerings.
  • Invest in your professional development to enhance your contributions to customer success.

Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A solid understanding of data networking and modern application design.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges.
  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal roles.
  • Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations and workshops.
  • Familiarity with solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Experience in complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates receiving an offer, the expected starting base salary ranges from $192,000 to $264,000 per year, along with potential bonuses and stock options.
