Role Overview
The Solutions Consultant role represents a modern evolution of traditional Sales Engineering, focusing on how we best assist our clients in navigating their unique environments. In this position, you will provide essential technical leadership and expertise, guiding customers through their security transformation journeys.

Your Responsibilities
As a Solutions Consultant, you will:
1. Deliver exceptional technical guidance to ensure clients realize the full value of their investments.
2. Develop tailored technical solutions that align with customers' critical business objectives.
3. Advocate for our industry-leading services in on-premises, cloud, and security operations, establishing Palo Alto Networks as the preferred cybersecurity partner.

Your Impact
Curiosity is fundamental to the Solutions Consultant role, allowing you to view complex challenges as opportunities for innovation. You will:
1. Meet and exceed sales targets by crafting strategic technical account plans that address cross-platform solutions.
2. Conduct thorough discovery sessions to identify and articulate the key technical and operational needs of prospects and clients.
3. Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of solutions.
4. Demonstrate strong communication skills, effectively influencing stakeholders through presentations and tailored demonstrations.
5. Lead technical validation efforts, ensuring best practices are followed to secure technical wins in assigned opportunities.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A solid understanding of data networking and modern application design, particularly in cloud architectures.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal contexts; prior pre-sales experience is advantageous.
- Skills in creating and delivering impactful technical presentations and workshops.
- Familiarity with selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Experience in complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and diverse product solutions.
- Proficiency in English.
