Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the Senior Project Manager to oversee medication-focused and behavioral clinical research studies within the Psychiatry division.

The Lead Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for the daily management of study operations, ensuring that all activities align with project timelines and objectives. You will play a crucial role in data acquisition and will be involved in various procedures, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroencephalography (EEG), neurocognitive assessments, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Participant Management: Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with the PI and project team. Monitor participant flow and maintain accurate tracking logs.
  • Research Visits: Conduct study visits, ensuring compliance with informed consent processes and accurate documentation of clinical assessments.
  • Protocol Compliance: Ensure adherence to study protocols, HIPAA regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Data Management: Oversee data entry and integrity, manage databases, and assist in generating reports as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the PI and project team regarding study progress and any issues that arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination of study activities.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address challenges in study operations, contributing to the overall success of the research initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of four years of experience in coordinating clinical research trials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong communication skills are essential. A background in clinical research certification is preferred.
