Position Overview

Role Summary: The Client Support Coordinator will deliver time-sensitive, comprehensive services aimed at assisting individuals facing challenges due to their criminal records. This role encompasses conducting assessments, facilitating job searches, advocating for legal rights, and connecting clients with essential resources such as housing and public benefits. The Coordinator will collaborate with both internal teams and external organizations to empower clients to reintegrate successfully into society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in proactive outreach to individuals who are eligible for re-entry support services.
  • Provide transportation for clients upon their release from correctional facilities.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate client needs.
  • Facilitate regular case management meetings to provide direct support.
  • Identify client strengths and challenges to develop personalized improvement plans.
  • Assist clients in overcoming barriers associated with their criminal history, including housing instability and employment discrimination.
  • Connect clients with community resources, including training programs, healthcare services, and support groups.
  • Monitor client progress and ensure effective follow-up on service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with various programs to enhance service delivery to clients.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred or a minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in case management, counseling, or therapeutic settings is advantageous.
  • Strong interest in social justice, legal advocacy, and re-entry initiatives.
  • Commitment to high-quality programming and data-driven evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Ability to work with individuals facing mental health challenges and complex life situations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $36,000 - $38,000 per year
