The Intensive Crisis Stabilization Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering short-term, comprehensive support services to individuals encountering barriers due to their past legal issues. This position involves performing assessments of risks and needs, aiding in employment searches and training, providing legal support, connecting clients to public assistance and housing resources, guiding them through community supervision, and addressing various case management requirements. By working closely with both internal programs and external organizations, the Coordinator empowers clients to successfully reintegrate into the community with confidence and essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development, execution, and enhancement of the Criminal Justice Program components
  • Conduct outreach follow-ups with eligible clients for re-entry services
  • Provide transportation assistance for clients upon their release from County Jail
  • Carry out initial and subsequent assessments
  • Deliver direct support through regular case management sessions
  • Assist clients in setting objectives and creating plans to improve their well-being and stability
  • Support clients in navigating challenges related to their criminal history
  • Connect clients with community resources for additional support
  • Track client progress and significant milestones
  • Ensure accuracy of data and adherence to program standards
  • Collaborate with other programs to provide services to eligible clients
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Psychology, or related disciplines
  • Master's Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience working with high-risk populations
  • Prior experience in case management, therapy, or counseling
  • Passion for social justice, legal advocacy, prisoner re-entry, and Fair Chance Hiring initiatives
  • Dedication to quality programming and data-driven evaluation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $34,000 - $36,500 per year
