Crisis Intervention Coordinator

The Crisis Stabilization Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering short-term, comprehensive support services to individuals encountering challenges due to their past legal issues. This position entails performing risk evaluations, aiding in employment searches and training, advocating for legal rights, facilitating access to public assistance and housing resources, guiding clients through community supervision, and addressing various case management requirements. By partnering with internal initiatives and external organizations, the Coordinator enables clients to succeed in their communities with confidence and necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the development, execution, and expansion of the Criminal Justice Program components
- Conduct follow-up outreach to eligible clients for reintegration services
- Provide transportation assistance for clients upon their release from detention facilities
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments
- Deliver direct services through regular case management sessions
- Assist clients in setting objectives and formulating plans to improve their well-being and stability
- Support clients in navigating challenges linked to their criminal history
- Connect clients with community resources for additional support
- Track client progress and significant milestones
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to program standards
- Collaborate with other programs to provide services to eligible individuals
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Psychology, or related disciplines
- Master's Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience working with high-risk populations
- Previous experience in case management, therapy, or counseling
- Passion for social justice, legal advocacy, prisoner reintegration, and Fair Chance Hiring practices
- Dedication to high-quality programs and data-informed evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $34,000 - $36,500 annually
