Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy for our West Coast Region will report directly to the Executive Vice President. This role is pivotal in overseeing, mentoring, and training a dedicated team of Business Development Managers. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp attention to detail, a proven history of fostering employee growth, and extensive experience in B2B sales. This position is located in a dynamic urban environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete sales process within the Region.
  • Set specific, measurable objectives for the team that align with the broader goals and growth targets of the Region.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance of the sales team.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for each team member.
  • Excel in building relationships and successfully closing deals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to devise strategies and initiatives that address growth requirements.
  • Advance sales forecasting through effective use of the Salesforce pipeline.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine and optimize the sales process.
  • Recruit skilled new sales personnel to cultivate an outstanding sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the service sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading a highly skilled, motivated, and results-oriented sales team.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse individuals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, confident, and energetic with a positive outlook.
  • Proven track record as a top-performing individual sales contributor.
  • Adopt a proactive 'Field General' approach to sales leadership, actively involved in key deal generation and closure.
