Key Responsibilities:

The Vice President will spearhead the development of a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at enhancing sales, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence across targeted sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Government, and Perishables. This role involves:

  • Driving client-focused initiatives across major global trade routes.
  • Collaborating with local and regional management teams to meet growth targets.
  • Creating innovative service propositions that deliver value tailored to client capabilities.
  • Leading full sales cycles while expanding the client base and fostering organic growth.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert within the industry, enhancing training in sales and operations with a strong analytical and customer-centric approach.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, consolidations, and co-loading.
  • Proven success in selling to freight forwarders.
  • Strong orientation towards global air freight operations.
  • Expertise in temperature-controlled freight logistics.
  • Experience in managing global or key accounts.
  • Ability to navigate complex and consultative sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Familiarity with trade lanes including Asia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Middle East.
  • Experience in the verticals of Pharmaceuticals, Government/GSA, and Perishables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of success in selling to shippers.
  • Experience in value-added sales such as customs brokerage and warehousing solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish is a plus.
