Position Summary:

The organization is in search of a seasoned and driven senior sales leader to spearhead the Consumer Packaged Goods (Big Box Retail) Sales division.

As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Relations, your main objective will be to optimize revenue by onboarding new clients and enhancing growth from existing partnerships.

Your role encompasses leading a specialized team of senior business development professionals, formulating and executing sales strategies, and deploying tactical solutions that leverage Univision's extensive media capabilities to maximize client outcomes.

Additionally, you will cultivate and sustain relationships with C-Suite executives and marketing leaders within the CPG sector. A profound understanding of CPG and market entry strategies is crucial.

In your capacity as SVP of Business Development, you will actively participate in industry conferences and discussions to position Univision as a thought leader and a trusted advisor in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of dedicated Business Development Vice Presidents focused on the category while personally managing select key accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with C-Suite executives and senior sales leadership.
  • In partnership with executive teams, design and implement strategic initiatives for the category.
  • Utilize existing senior executive relationships to foster and expand client connections at the C-Suite level.
  • Engage with internal (sales, insights, partner solutions) and external stakeholders (agency leadership).
  • Develop agendas and facilitate monthly Tiger teams to enhance internal stakeholder comprehension of the category and assess overall performance.
  • Keep the EVP, Chief Growth Officer, and President of Sales and Marketing updated on category development efforts, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise category-specific solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to establish Univision as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Take a leading role in client meetings alongside Univision senior leadership and client C-Suite.
  • Ensure that Univision presentations and discussions are engaging and accelerate client advertising initiatives.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, CPG, or Big Box Retail.

Extensive experience in a sales or business development role, directly engaging with high-level decision-makers, including C-Suite executives, SVPs, VPs, Directors of Marketing, Brand Managers, and Media Directors at agencies, is essential.

Domain expertise in the CPG sector and established relationships with C-Suite decision-makers in this category are necessary.

Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
