Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Business Development for our West Coast Region will report directly to the Executive Vice President. This role is pivotal in overseeing, mentoring, and training a dedicated team of Business Development Managers. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail, a proven history of fostering employee growth, and substantial experience in B2B sales. This position is located in Los Angeles, California.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete sales cycle within the Region.
  • Set specific, measurable objectives for the team that align with the overall goals and growth targets of the Region.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for each team member.
  • Excel in building relationships and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate strategies and initiatives that address growth requirements.
  • Enhance sales forecasting through effective use of the Salesforce pipeline.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize the sales process.
  • Recruit skilled sales personnel to build a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales, ideally within a service-oriented industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and directing a highly skilled, motivated, and results-driven sales team.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse individuals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, confident, energetic, and possessing a positive outlook.
  • Proven history as a top-performing individual sales contributor.
  • Passionate and proactive approach to sales leadership, actively involved in key deal generation and closure.
