Position Overview:

The Vice President of Revenue Management will report directly to the CEO of a prominent logistics service provider, specializing in a comprehensive range of offerings including air and ocean freight forwarding, temperature-sensitive storage, customs brokerage, e-commerce solutions, and advanced visibility tools.

This organization stands as a leader in the global air freight forwarding sector, renowned for its excellence in handling temperature-controlled shipments.

The individual in this role will be responsible for crafting and executing a robust growth strategy aimed at enhancing sales, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence across targeted sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Government, and Perishables.

Key responsibilities encompass driving client-focused initiatives across vital global trade routes and collaborating with regional management teams to meet ambitious growth targets.

The ideal candidate will be adept at developing tailored propositions and service offerings that deliver value aligned with each client's unique capabilities, while overseeing complete sales cycles and fostering client base expansion and organic growth.

A significant aspect of this role will involve acting as an industry expert, providing insights and training to both internal teams and external partners, with a strong emphasis on a customer-centric and analytical approach for all products and services within the designated sectors.


Required Qualifications:
Experience in international freight forwarding, consolidations, and co-loading (5-10 years)

Proven success in selling to freight forwarders
Global air freight expertise
Understanding of temperature-sensitive freight logistics
Experience in global or key account management
Complex and consultative sales strategies
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Key trade lanes include:
Asia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Middle East
Target sectors: Pharmaceuticals, Government / GSA, Perishables
Proficiency in computer systems, including the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Background:
Experience in selling to shippers.
Value-added sales experience (e.g., customs brokerage, warehousing, visibility tools)

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Language proficiency: Mandarin Chinese, Spanish
