About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Dallas Go Red For Women fundraising campaign, including the signature Go Red For Women Luncheon event with an annual fundraising goal of $2M plus.
  • Provide strategic direction and management to a team of fundraisers and support staff.
  • Build strong relationships with volunteer leaders, corporate partners, and individual donors to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Cultivate major donors, secure large corporate sponsorships, and identify and secure foundation gifts.
  • Participate in top-level cultivation strategies and engagements.
  • Lead and coach a team of fundraisers and support staff, including recruitment, interview, hire, orient, and train new hires.
  • Participate as a member of the Dallas Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of successful experience in non-profit fundraising or similar experience.
  • 3 years of managerial experience, ideally with a sales or fundraising team in a similar organization.
  • Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level.
  • Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics.
  • Ability to travel the Dallas area daily and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Understanding of how to engage and work within philanthropic communities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
