Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Operations to join our dynamic team at a Senior Living Company. As a key leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Senior Living communities in the Texas area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures within the communities.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Ongoing development and implementation of the Company's operating systems for community level operations.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead Executive Directors and support them in recruitment, development, and coaching of community leadership teams.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Exemplify and be an influential team player, exhibiting judgment in leading others to meet worthwhile objectives.
    • Possess exceptional communication skills, ensuring a positive attitude and team orientation in verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Organizational Capabilities
    • Exhibit strong organizational capabilities, demonstrating empathy and good listening skills.
    • Remain flexible and adaptable, working with integrity in all interactions.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain productive, work-focused relationships with teams, residents, their families, corporate, regional, and divisional resources, and within the community.
    • Engage others in fun and creative activities.
  • Financial Management
    • Assist in the preparation of and ongoing monitoring of annual budgets.
    • Ensure that occupancy and financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Field Audits and Additional Duties
    • Conduct field audits at Senior Living communities within the region.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Five (5) or more years of related business experience in skilled, assisted living, or retirement living facility/community management.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Multi-operations experience preferred.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and apply to operations.
    • Successful history of building sales and meeting financial goals.
    • Strong relationship-building skills, ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
    • Strong management and judgment skills, including organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, web proficiency, and exposure to senior living specific software programs.
    • Ability to travel up to 75% weekly, including overnight travel.
