Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead and define large, intricate teams composed of members from business, technical, and vendor backgrounds.
  • Engage closely with clients and partners to outline project scope and create comprehensive project documentation in accordance with the client's methodologies.
  • Convert client requirements into actionable schedules and tasks, leveraging industry knowledge and delivery practices.
  • Revitalize projects that are experiencing challenges, providing direction to implement necessary changes and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Actively listen and integrate feedback from management and fellow project managers regarding expectations, deliverables, and overall project governance.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of complex projects across multiple business lines.
  • Comprehensive ownership of the project life cycle, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through deployment for major and minor initiatives.
  • Expertise in status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, while communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of the interconnections between technology, operations, and business requirements.
  • Capability to identify, assess, and manage project risks and challenges.
  • Strong background in structuring and executing change management processes.
  • Adhere to a consultative approach as a fundamental aspect of work style.
  • Exhibit a disciplined, organized, and collaborative work ethic, with excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • Over 10 years of direct program and/or project management experience on progressively complex projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years working in a consulting capacity or as an independent contractor.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, preferably Workday.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, or MS Project.
