About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our People Programs team at REI. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategies and initiatives, driving partnerships, solutions, and process improvements to ensure we deliver the right people programs in the moments that matter most in the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Management: Develop and manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring they align with our overall strategy, while delivering program efficacy and leveraging project management methodologies and tools as needed for program updates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, including remote areas and in field environments, to drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Communication and Data Analysis: Deliver best-in-class communications to drive people-centric outcomes, articulate strategy and individual program benefits to a diverse set of target audiences, including executive leaders, and drive key success metrics. Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate program performance, generate actionable insights, and enable informed decision making.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify short- and long-term systems and processes to support program delivery with efficiency and quality, while maintaining a people-centric approach.
  • Compliance and Governance: Establish and maintain governance structures for program oversight and delivery, and program integration into the wider ecosystem.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strategic Thinking: Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for our People Programs pillars.
  • Systems Thinking: Understand and consider the interconnectedness of the employee ecosystem and the systems, tools, and processes that support that ecosystem.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify solutions and improvements through innovative, forward-thinking approaches focused on delivering meaningful, accessible, and personalized experiences at scale, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Program Management: Manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring they align with our overall strategy, while delivering program efficacy, and leveraging project management methodologies and tools as needed for program updates.
