Your Role
As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer’s shopping experience by overseeing large-scale, intricate projects that span multiple teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Your expertise in agile methodologies will be essential in collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver exceptional and innovative solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with essential stakeholders in product management and engineering to convert requirements into actionable roadmaps.
- Oversee cross-team dependencies, assess risks, and manage trade-offs to optimize developer experience and delivery timelines.
- Lead engineering and integration decisions, ensuring alignment across various teams and organizations.
- Establish and monitor metrics that indicate business success and the quality of technical outputs.
- Regularly communicate with senior management regarding project status, risks, and change management.
- Proactively identify and address strategic challenges that could hinder the team's ability to achieve business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
- 7+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of technical program management experience collaborating with software engineering teams.
- Proven track record in managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience in managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs that drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US geographic regions. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by multiple factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
