About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our sales team at Calabrio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and hunting new business opportunities in the enterprise sales space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute a Regional Sales Plan: Create and execute a regional sales plan, including prospecting, developing pipeline, and closing opportunities.
  • Qualify and Manage Leads: Qualify and manage leads through the full sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication with key decision-makers.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging your consultative approach to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Support Field Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with field marketing teams to leverage lead-generating programs, product launches, and promotions to drive sales growth.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Gather intelligence on markets, prospects, and competition using various resources, ensuring a deep understanding of the sales landscape.
  • Meet or Exceed Quota Expectations: Consistently meet or exceed quota expectations, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to sales performance.
Requirements:
  • 7+ Years' Experience in Complex B2B Software Sales: Proven track record of success in selling complex B2B software products, with a strong understanding of sales cycles and customer needs.
  • Outstanding Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of Calabrio's solutions.
  • Experience with Sales Tools and Technology: Proficiency in using sales tools and technology, including CRM systems, sales automation platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Light Travel and Industry Conferences: Ability to travel to industry conferences and meetings with key prospects, with a strong understanding of the sales landscape and market trends.
  • Consistent History of Overachievement: Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding quota expectations, with a strong work ethic and dedication to sales performance.
  • Accountable Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and a drive to win.
  • College or University Degree: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or business-related field, with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer needs.
